If you’re a skincare junkie and a serial face mask-er then you, just like me, absolutely must have a stash of affordable face masks that is replenished quite regularly. I’m talking about masking every other day…whether is exfoliating, plumping or hydrating, when it’s such a soothing activity I do find myself going through jars very quickly!
Over the last two years, there have been a few masks that I always have in stock in my vanity because they are so good for a last minute skin save or even used as therapy.
L’Oreal Charcoal Clay Face Mask
I absolutely swear by this affordable face mask which has been on rotation since my wedding days. It was my go to for a quick skin detox between heavy makeup days
The Body Shop Himalayan Charcoal Face Mask
This is my go to face mask whenever my pores need a deep detox. Wash it off in the shower as it turns into a scrub (also to avoid a mess) and and be left with the most glowing skin. I’ve even got my husband hooked on it! Pair it with The Body Shop Himalayan Charcoal Face Wash and you won’t be sorry!
The Body Shop British Rose Plumping Face Mask
If you’re really into exfoliating the shi* out of your skin, then you need an excellent hydrating and plumping mask to follow your regime. This one does the trick with the delicious scent of British Rose, it’s another fan favourite!
La Roche Posay Effaclar Face Mask
A french pharmacy beauty find, this is an excellent clean beauty skincare option. It really does wonders for oily skin with cleaning out the pores and sebum, especially in the warmer months! Absolutely does a wonderful job of keeping the oily skin at bay!
The Ordinary AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution
One of the best and most affordable at home peeling and resurfacing products from our very own and trusty The Ordinary. Packed with our favourite acids: 30% Alpha Hydroxyl Acids (Glycolic, Lactic, Tartaric and Citric) & 2% Beta Hydroxyl Salicylic Acid, it evens out the skin tone and texture in mere minutes of application. Word of warning though, it’s so strong so don’t leave it on longer that you need to!
Laneige Sleeping Mask
No surprise that this made it on to the affordable face masks list because of it’s cult favourite status! It’s got a delicious bouncy texture that liquifies on contact with your skin. This is one of the best overnight hydrating products that gives you mini spa feeling that won’t smear all over your pillow as you head to bed.
