White summer outfits are an essential for any closet. It instantly makes you look and feel so summery and airy for the hotter days. Funnily enough, I was never a fan of white as a color for outfits for most of my life. I felt self conscious and thought it didn’t complement my skin tone leading me to actively just delete the idea of even buying a top that was pretty but white. It wasn’t until last summer that I got a white dress to wear on a trip to Mykonos and I fell in love with the simplicity of the color. I realized it actually does suit me and I was so in love with it. It is so much fun to style up or down with your jewellery pieces and of course summer slides and espadrilles.
So as this summer approached, even though most of us are going to be staying at home, I knew I was going to go on an all white summer outfits overload. Cue the Zara and H&M collections dropping and me going a little insane with my shopping cart, the highlight of which was, of course, white. Picking options from the simple but elevated white t shirt to a more stylish ruffle top, there are so many outfit styling ideas and options to pick from.
I ended up shooting a little YouTube video because I feel it was necessary to capture the look and feel of the pieces I picked out.
