It’s the sale season that just makes me soooo happy and I go a little nuts stocking up beauty supplies. Since it’s also my birthday month, I do tend to indulge a decent amount in the beautiful and addicting world of Sephora. And even though I’m living in London, it doesn’t stop me from ordering my wishlist to my mom’s house.
One of my to dos each season, is to create a beauty wishlist of products I want and holiday gift sets are such a fave with me. So this year I decided to share my wishlist with you all which will have an option for each type of friend: for the one who is totally skincare obsessed, the one who likes to go makeup free and even for the one who loves her glowy highlighter look.
Here are my top picks for a beauty gift guide:
1. Dennis Gross Skincare: Doctor’s Kit Gold Standard Anti-Aging Solution $78
This is definitely one of the more potent skincare products with a heavier price tag but they do wonders for decongestion, exfoliation and skin texture. Again, this would be a great find for someone who lives in a city where the pollution levels are crazy (ahem London ahem). Bonus points for being a vegan and paraben free product. The transformation will be real cuz Dr Dennis Gross truely does wonders for your #glow. Buy it here.
2. Marc Jacobs Beauty: The Undersmoke Kit Eyeliner and Mascara $33
Marc Jacobs have a really good arsenal of products, out of which their Velvet Noir Mascara reigns supreme. I actually tried it as a sample a while ago and it gives the most amazing jet black volume. I haven’t tried the eyeliner myself but having seen reviews and the quality of the eye products before, I’m sure it’ll knock the rivals out of the park. Get this beauty gift box here.
3. Laneige Hydration Dream Team $51
I know SO MANY PEOPLE who use the Laniege sleeping hydration products so of course this had to go on the list for any beauty lover. It gives such an extra dose of moisture and works overnight to quench the skin’s thirst v well. City girls will appreciate it even more, trust me. The berry lip mask also smells oh so delicious. An excellent addition to the beauty kit for your gal pal. Get it here.
4. Nudestix Mini Nudies 3 Piece Kit $32
A fan of stick makeup (which tbh I never thought I would be…just sparked another blog post idea as I write this). This trio is the only thing you need to put sculpt your face in creamy stick form. Super creamy and easy to blend, the trio is an adorable gift idea for the lazy girl’s morning routine. A cute addition to your perfect travel kit as well. Try it here.
5. Mario Badescu Facial Spray Trio $20
This face spray is downright addicting and perfect for any season year round. My personal fave out of this is the Rose Water mist but honestly, all of these are just as good. I literally use this mist to prime my skin for skincare, setting makeup and even just to dampen my beauty blender to blend foundation, concealer and other products. Such a good gift and universally loved mist at such a great price point! Get it here.
6. Glow Recipe Let It Glow Set $63
The delicious summery scent of Glow Recipe’s Watermelon Mask is on so many people’s love list. I’ve been using the little mask for a long time now and it’s so refreshing as a last step of my night routine when I am in the mood for a scented sleeping mask. Pumped full of hyaluronic acid and antioxidants, it helps the skin feel super smooth and plump the next morning. Also, it’s clean beauty + vegan which is an added benefit (obvs). This little gift set is the perfect sampling piece for yourself or a friend hundo p. Take a look here.
7. Hourglass Ambient Lighting Palette $84
I feel like if you plan on getting one really amazing present for your best girlfriend, this is it. These shimmery perfecters add such a classy overall finish to the skin at the end of a routine. You can use either one shade at a time, or take a bigger brush and swipe across all three shades to mix and highlight. It’s one of those presents that will make you squeal with delight at the result. Get it here.
8. Clinique Moisture Surge Deluxe Set $65
I have been a religious user of this Clinique range since I was a teenager and rediscovered my love for it back in 2017 with the Moisture Surge range. I legit repurchase it every chance I get and also recommend it to all of my friends so obv it has to be on my beauty lover gift list. The moisturizer is such a good winter product and a total bargain with the small mask and Vitamin C. Get it here.
9. Fresh Winter Wonder Lips Gift Set $46
Fresh Beauty does crazy good lip products and even better gift sets each year. The tinted lip balms are soooooooo freaking good and I have been using my signature berry shade for years. This gift set is so perfect for the two step lip care: exfoliate + hydrating and smoothing lip balm that can be lathered or dabbed to perfection. Considering each of the lip balms is $30+, this trio for the set is a holiday steal and a perfect present for yourself even! Try it here.
10. NARS Wanted Eyeshadow Palette Mini $33.00
This little mini special edition palette is soooo adorable and I have added one for myself to cart. Legit can’t wait to try it and play with the colors for myself. I actually haven’t updated my eye palette collection in over a year since I wear it very rarely. But the shades and shimmer in these are way too pretty and I couldn’t resist. Also, the price point is ridiculously good…so why not! Take a look here.
11. Jo Malone London Mini Candle Collection $135
This is such a me present to put on this list. Perfect for the scent lover, Jo Malone candles are iconic and individually quite pricey which makes this such a unique find. This set has 5 mini candles and like a little crazy person, I have inhaled my way through the Jo Malone stores enough times to know that this scents are amazing. Get it here.
