Lazy Girl’s Guide to a Quick Morning Makeup Routine

Mornings are always a bit of a blur for me. I am super guilty of the classic ‘five more minutes’ as I hit the snooze button again and again till I absolutely HAVE to get out of bed. I tend not to spend more than 10 minutes on my as trying to tame my unruly hair is the dominating aspect of my morning hour. With that being said, I still like having a fresh and put together look in the morning, which of course, starts with skincare and makeup.

FACE

Tinted Moisturizer/CC Cream

After the basic moisturizing has been done, the iT Cosmetics CC Cream is my saviour. I use very little amounts with one pump usually being more than enough. Mainly using it on my t-zone and it gives me that instant boost of even skin and makes me look more awake. Plus it’s packed with SPF so it just instantly take cares of me on that front.

Concealer

I tend to not wear heavy concealer under my eyes but I do use it to hide any blemish or dark areas and this works perfectly well. Even for under eye the NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer is insanely good and I see why this is such a cult beauty product with even me being on my second tube.

Eyebrows

I have thick brows but a girl needs to have those brows on point. And the Benefit K-Brow Cream Gel in the slightest moderation is absolutely perfect. Paired with a brow brush and a few quick strokes in the areas I need, it is my holy grail eyebrow product at the moment.

Eyelashes

This is a recent edition to my mascara collection. I am addicted to the Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara but I have been loving the Dior Pump n Volume Mascare lately. The hydration is intense and my eyes look awake almost instantaneously.

Cheeks

Two words. Insane Pigment. The Bobbi Brown blush is one that I have been using on repeat for over a year now. All that needs to be done is to press your brush lightly into the pan and it will pick up the perfect amount of product to sweep across your cheeks. And it lasts forever. Like legit. Forever.

Highlight

The ABH Glow Kit has anything a girl ever needs in terms of highlighter. The fan brush and one swipe is the perfect morning glow for the working gal. And for me, one swipe is all I need for that low key highlight. I’ve had this kit for a very long time so please ignore the battered state. It gets a lot of love as you all can see.

Lips

These Too Faced Creamy Lipsticks have the perfect cream texture and my favorite shade is Sweet Maple. It’s the perfect flushed lip shade for me and I have been addicted for over a year. One the third tube now lolz.

And there you have it. These 7 products are all I need. With this combined with insane speed, I can be ready and out the door in under half an hour on any given morning. Even though this is my main routine during rush times, I do love taking my time as well and experimenting with a ton of other products. But that is for another blog post to be.
