Ah yes, my favourite time of the year. It’s beginning of November here in the Great White North accompanied with highly erratic doom and gloom of cloudy days, snow flurries and pouring rain v randomly. BUT it also brings SALE SEASON #YASSSSSGIRLLLLLLL. With that, it’s officially Sephora Sale season and I have over $1000 worth of goodies that I have to sift through. While I go through this process, I might as well share a little bit of my insanity on here. Let’s get starteddddd….
What to Buy in the Sephora Sale in Skincare
Caudalie Pore Purifying Gel Cleanser
Packed with natural salicylic acid goodness, this is a repurchase for me. I found that this Caudalie cleanser did such an amazing job of cleaning out my skin, especially all the extra makeup and sebum that comes with an oily skin type. It also smells so clean and delicious and really controls the t-zone shine! This was a part of my French Beauty Must Have blog post previously. Also #cleanbeauty approved.
The Ordinary Glycolic Toner
This would be my first purchase of The Ordinary Glycolic Toner but I am a huge fan of ANYTHING Glycolic Acid. Having previously used this acid in the Nip and Fab Pads, I am very excited to try this out and try something different. I think that The Ordinary have killed it because at this price point, you get a 240mL bottle which will definitely last for a really long time. In general (and I know I’m fan girling here), Glycolic Acid is amazing for the texture of your skin, cleaning your pores and it’s such a holy grail skincare ingredient. Very excited for this.
Caudalie Beauty Elixir
I became a fan of this soothing and delicious Caudalie Beauty Elixir mist a while ago, and so this would be a repurchase for me. It’s perfect to tighten the pores visibly and instantly, to set makeup and just to freshen up your skin at any point in the day! It’s marked as Clean Beauty, which is amazing because I can mist all day long without any worry of chemicals being seeped into my skin. I’m opting for the Caudalie gift set because it is literally the same price as a full sized product except you also get a mini mask and my ABSOLUTE favourite Caudalie Vinopure cleanser.
Origins Ginzing Moisturizer
Having tried this in sample size before, I had been waiting for the Sephora sale so I could plunge and get the full version. I always go for anything that is gel based and gives a glow from within and the Origins Ginzing literally does that. Again, I think going for the gift set is an excellent value because not only do you get the full sized moisturizer, but also the Origins Eye Cream and Tinted Moisturizer for less than an extra $5. A definite steal! My goodness, this really is my favourite time of the year for shopping. *swoons*
Drunk Elephant C-Firma Vitamin C Day Serum
I actually got the Drunk Elephant C-Firma Vitamin C Serum in the last Sephora sale and I HAD to include it in my sephora sale picks. It’s packed with really powerful and more importantly clean ingredients that give you an instant glow and work to really brighten and even out your complexion. This is one very expensive serum, which is why picking it up on the sale is an excellent decision! So if you’re on the lookout for a really powerful Vitamin C serum for the ultimate glow, Drunk Elephant is an excellent choice.

What to Buy in the Sephora Sale in Makeup
Bare Minerals Complexion Rescue Tinted Moisturizer
This is my new favourite tinted moisturizer and the fact that it has a mineral SPF of 30 was what really sold me on it. It’s really good if you are lazy on packing on the sunscreen, with this one having it built in. It’s a much more affordable option than some of the other brands available and really does an excellent job of evening out your complexion and skin tone. . Also, clean beauty free of chemicals!
Bare Minerals BareSkin Serum Concealer
After raving reviews from one of my girlfriends, I absolutely had to add this Bare Minerals Concealer to cart. After loving the Bare Minerals Tinted Moisturizer, I am sure this will be an amazing product! Since I don’t wear foundation, picking good concealers is super important to me. This is supposed to be a ‘serum concealer‘ so I am excited to see the blending sitch. Also another excellent price point + CLEAN CLEAN CLEAN BEAUTY!
Marc Jacobs Velvet Noir Volumizing Mascara
Picking up this cult favourite Marc Jacobs mascara for all my lash volumizing needs. I actually can’t remember if I have tried this before but very excited about getting and trying it out. It comes in a bunch of different gift sets and also in a mini size if you don’t want to take the plunge on the full size.
Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Kit
A little update to my brow products with the every so trusty Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz and Pomade rolled into one little kit. I tented to switch back and forth between brow pencils and brow gels so this is an absolute perfect find for those of you also into the same switching routine!
Milk Makeup Flex Concealer
This Milk Makeup product is SUCH a good but also very under rated concealer. It comes in this small little squeezy tube which means you can get every last little bit of product out and nothing goes to waste. It’s super rich and creamy and stays put all day long. Definitely a new favourite that I have been recommending to a lot of my friends!
Milk Makeup Lip+Cheek Stick
This Milk Makeup cheek stick is one of my holy grail products and I think I will always include this in my sephora sale recommendations. I have literally been using this every day since 2018 because it adds that perfect flush of color and is especially amazing for brown skin tones in the color ‘Werk‘. A must have in any kit. Comes in two sizes as well which is fab!

GHD Platinum+ Professional 1″ Straightener
This is my major purchase that I have REALLY been looking forward to for the last few months. I have been meaning to buy a new straightener for such a long time and it’s the one product that I don’t want to skimp out on considering I use it every single day! Super excited for this because after a bunch of research, GHD is the MVP of hair styling products. Will report back here but with the sephora sale, it’s a much better deal than buying it full price at $250.

What to Buy in the Sephora Sale in Fragrance
The Ouai Melrose Place Fragrance
If you’re on the lookout for a daily wear fruity, floral and super light fragrance The Ouai’s Melrose Place is an excellent pick! I am someone who loves wearing a super light fragrance every day even if I am just at home, and this is such a perfect pick! It comes in two sizes of 10mL and 50mL which is perfect if you want to pop a mini version in your bag to go. I have been wearing this one since the spring sale and absolutely love it for home wear.
Valentino Born in Roma Fragrance
I actually went to Sephora to try out the new Valentino Voce Viva Fragrance and unexpectedly fell in love with the Born in Roma scent instead! It’s perfect parts fruity and floral and not at all overwhelming which is exactly what I was looking for. Into the cart it goes for me! Another plus point, just look at the gorgeous rock stud bottle! Dreamy AF.
