  • Sephora Sale Spring 2021 Picks

It’s one of the best times of the year. The spring Sephora Sale is here and as usual, I have an absolutely brimming virtual cart of skin, hair and makeup restocks all ready to be ordered. Fresh off of my last blog post on building a skincare routine custom to you, which will be helpful, here we go into the Sephora sale!

sephora sale spring 2021 what to buy

Briogeo Scalp Revival Charcoal and Tea Tree Hydration Mask

I recently discovered the clean beauty brand, Briogeo and I am absolutely transformed. Their Scalp Revival Mask has come in so clutch during the dry scalp days for me over the last few weeks. 10 minutes post shampoo directly into the scalp and it does an amazing job of a deep cleanse at the roots. Haven’t needed to reach for my trusty Head and Shoulder’s in a long while and I love it.

    Lys Triple Fix Serum Foundation

This is the one foundation, in a very long time, that has me grabbing my beauty blender and enjoying a completely flawless complexion. I am totally not being paid to write this but I fully plan on raving in a separate blog post on how amazing this super under the radar foundation is.

Its packed with a bunch of ingredient goodies like Hyaluronic Acid (obviously hydration central), Turmeric (wink wink fellow brown girl knows this is bomb) and Ashwagandha (an Indian herb to combat stress and aging). I’ve been wearing this in 35 degree weather in Pakistan and trust me, it is a must have foundation for the summer days. It’s already quite affordable at a $30 price point, but grab it at the sale for even better bang for buck.

    BECCA Shimmering Skin Perfector

If you haven’t heard already, sadly the ultimate highlighter powerhouse is closing it’s doors in September of this year. This means no more one swipe highlighter glam, however this also means to stock up on their best sellers which includes the Shimmering Skin Perfector. I’ve personally stocked up on my forever favourite shades two of which I even wore on my wedding day: Moonstone, Champagne Pop and Opal.

    Lancôme Monsieur Big Mascara

If you’re looking to update or try out a crazy volumizing mascara. The Lancôme Monsieur Big is the absolute way to go. It packs on an insane amount of volume in a single stroke and such a must try at least once if you’re in the market for a new mascara!

    BareMinerals Mineralist Hydra-Smoothing Lipstick

Another beauty pick that I have been loving for the last few months is the BareMinerals lipstick. It’s super hydrating and one swipe gives the best flushed color from within look. There is a bunch of gorgeous shades but my personal natural shades that I plan to restock were Honestly and Memory. Absolutely delicious and perfect for spring summer days.

Drunk Elephant C-Firma Vitamin C Day Serum

With the term Vitamin C, one of my absolute favourites now is the Drunk Elephant C-Firma Vitamin C serum. A little bit really goes a super long way, it’s lightweight and it gives that glow from within vibe especially before putting on your moisturizer.

Paula’s Choice 2% BHA Exfoliant Liquid

This is hailed as one of the die hard internet favourite liquid exfoliants and having just tried it out myself, I can see the hype. It’s packed with Salicylic Acid which does an amazing job at keeping breakouts and blackheads at bay. My pores thank you Paula’s Choice.

Ole Henriksen Find Your Balance Oil Control Cleanser

With summer fast approaching, the Ole Henriksen Oil Control Cleanser will be one of your skincare and cleansing favourites. It rich with Glycolic and Lactic Acids which really help to keep the excess oil and sebum at bay. Pack it in your ‘vaxxed and waxed’ holiday kit for the summer! 😉

Jo Malone Cologne in ‘Nashi Blossom’ Limited Edition

If you’re in the market for a fresh and fruity new perfume this summer, Jo Malone just introduced a bunch of new limited edition scents. My pick of these is the ‘Nashi Blossom Cologne‘ because it is absolutely right up my alley. Considering the Jo Malone scents are quite expensive, the Sephora Sale is the absolute perfect time to swipe a neat 20% to 15% off. I went for the smaller version of 30mL because I take forever to go through perfumes but size up if you like to spritz on some serious fragrance.
