The Jimmy Choo Romy Glitter Flats are one of my most glamorous purchases of the year (apart from the Manolos I got a little while back) and it was absolutely love at first sight..literally. I hadn’t even entered the store yet when I saw girl trying these on and my eyes glazed over. Honestly, in all the pre-wedding events and house parties that I have attended, I actually love wearing a pair of sparkling sandals or flats. These are so key for glam comfort ESPECIALLY if you are a part of the wedding party or hosting one, you have so much running around to do and it’s just impossible to be productive in stilletos. I had been thinking of adding a pretty pair in my wardrobe for a while but whenever I thought about it, it felt like it would be wise to invest in heels rather than flats.
Sizing
I am typically a size 6 in most brands, but in general for Jimmy Choo I had to size down to a 5.5 US because the larger size had my foot slipping out with each step. Definitely found that it fits a little small, so sizing down half a size will be the way to go if you’re looking to buy online.
Color
There are bunch of sparkling and gorgeous colors in this style, but I felt starting with a classic gold was absolutely essential. Pictures really dont do justice to these shoes because they are just out of this world beautiful. If you attend a lot of brown weddings, then you know in your heart that gold reigns supreme in shoes, accessories and formalwear. Oh how I wish I had bought these when I first got married, I genuinely feel like I could have even gotten away with wearing them under my wedding dress!
