This is one review I never thought I would be writing, one for the Bottega Veneta Mini Jodie! When I first started seeing this bag around, I was super certain this was not my style and I definitely didn’t want one. Felt like such a trendy piece and one that I wouldn’t even know how to style. But then, the power of Instagram and TikTok styling made me fall fast and hard for the Mini Jodie. Before I knew it, I was switching over from my Polene obsession and I was lusting after Bottega Veneta day and night, debating which color I wanted and where the best place would be to buy it.
Styling the Mini Jodie
A versatile handbag, this purchase has definitely turned out to be a lot more useful than I first thought it to be. Created with an excellent quality of calfskin and lambskin, it’s not a very delicate handbag which means it’s quite easy to take care of it and use it without worry. It’s both minimal and stands out as a statement piece all at the same time with any given outfit day or night.
What It Fits
Ultimately, the BV Mini Jodie is the ultimate evening bag which will fit all your essentials. In any given time, I can always fit my iPhone 14 Pro Max model, two lip products, keys, card holder and even Caudalie face mist. While it looks like a teeny tiny bag that wouldn’t fit much, I can actually pack quite the punch of my daily essentials in there.
Price
I bought this bag in September, at which point it was retailing for $2500 USD in the U.S. and €1900 Euros. However, now within a span of 4 months, the price in the U.S. currently is $2650 and €2100 Euros. It definitely appears that the price is appreciating quite fast. At the moment, it’s retailing for delivery at Net a Porter, Matches Fashion, Nordstrom, Bergdorf Goodman and of course directly on the website itself.
