I have been a big Polene fan girl ever since my first bucket bag purchase in 2021. Lately, the unpredictable weather in New York had me in the market for a daily tote which would be big enough to fit a compact umbrella, but small enough to tuck in my arm to be hands free. When I came across the Cyme Mini bag as one of the options, it literally seemed perfect.
Features
The Cyme Mini is literally one of the most lightweight but high quality bags that I have seen. The leather is buttery soft, comes with two handles making it super easy to wear and style it in multiple ways. Personally, I always love a bag that can be worn in different ways, secured under the arm for both a casual errand whilst subway hopping and then quick switch to the arm for a lunch date.
This Cyme style also comes in an array of beautiful muted colors that are both sophisticated and practical for daily use. I went for the taupe because it was a more ‘summer’ and ‘spring’ tone and could be worn with lighter wardrobe choices throughout the season.
Size
I opted for the mini size because it was perfectly suited to my daily city errand needs. The mini fits a small umbrella, a compact tripod and even an iPad, but it does not fit a standard 13 inch laptop. If you’re looking to carry your tech around, then the larger size will probably be more suited to your needs. The bag also comes with a small zip closure pouch in the same color tone as the outer leather which is so cute and also excellent for more internal bag organization for keys, cards etc.
Overall, this Polene Cyme bag is such an adorable purchase for a daily tote bag. It packs in quite a punch of storage for it’s deceptively small size, looks effortlessly chic and the magnetic expansion makes it easier to open and collapse in split seconds according to my daily need. Polene really truly has my heart.
