My love for Burberry has been growing over the last year with my first purchase (reviewed here) and the new mini Lola Bags that they keep releasing in swoon worthy stunning colors. This year, on a trip to Istanbul, I quite literally stumbled upon this beautiful Yellow Burberry Lola Bag in the mini size and it was love at first sight! I had already been in the mood to get a mini version of the bag and the color was just so perfect, I knew I had to have it right away!
Aesthetics
The bag comes in it’s classic Lola style of lambskin leather and monochromatic stitching which makes it so beautiful and unique in it’s own right. The bag has a full chain strap which is so beautiful and gives it an ultra luxurious feel whether it’s worn as a cross body or double strapped as a shoulder style.
The yellow color was a unique summer limited edition color and I feel so lucky to have bought it when I did because I tried finding it in the U.S. after I was back, and it was literally nowhere to be found. Having said that, Burberry are quite good at launching different limited edition colors in the same size and they are all equally swoon worthy so definitely something to be on the lookout for in seasonal changes.
What fits in the Mini Lola Bag
The mini may look small but it’s quite deceptively spacious. I can fit my iPhone 12 Pro Max (with case), quite easily with still plenty of room for any necessary cards, lip balm and keys. Without the phone, I can tetris even more items like hand sanitizers, compact mirror and my Airpods Pro.
Where to Buy the Mini Lola Bag
A good place to purchase this bag is Farfetch, Matches Fashion and Online Bergdorf’s Goodman. These sites are excellent for finding 10-15% discount codes for first time purchases and most of the time, Burberry is included in the conditions of these discounts. Definitely worth checking them out. However, if you find a seasonal style in store, I highly recommend purchasing it in store if you love it because it’s unlikely you will find a limited edition color anywhere on online retailers.
